Quinn

How many orgasms can a girl have before she dies? This is a legitimate question that I’m in dire need of an answer to. Parker’s given me more orgasms in a single night than I’ve had with another man in…years. I’m so sore that I can hardly move, but at least we had time to recover when he brought pie to bed and forced me to watch The Grinch until I fell asleep halfway through on his chest.

Now, the last thing I want to do is leave our little bubble of mind-blowing sex to go to dinner with my family. I’ve been dreading this since the moment my mother brought it up. Although, I’m sure it’s going to be quite entertaining having all of us in one place, sharing a meal. I can’t remember the last time that happened. But this year, Mom is hellbent on bringing us all together to spend the holidays, and that includs my father and his new wife.

“Ready for this?” Owen asks, taking a seat across from me, straightening the tie around his neck as he does.

Not only are we going to have to suffer through the stuffiest Christmas dinner of all time, we have to do so all dressed up.

Which means that I had another opportunity to break out the new Louboutins, so I guess it isn’t ALL bad after all.

“I guess. Hopefully he leaves early.” I pick up the glass of wine in front of me and swirl it around absentmindedly before taking a hefty sip. I can’t help but notice that Parker hasn’t touched his.

The one good thing about tonight?

We’re sitting next to each other.

“Be nice, Quinn. Can’t we all have a nice, calm dinner together? Your father and I have been working really hard to leave things in the past in order to come together for the holidays. We all need to try,” Mom chides.

It takes everything I have not to roll my eyes. Instead, I take another sip of my wine and sag back against the chair.

She’s right.

Wooosah, Quinn.

Under the table, I can feel the heat of Parker’s hand as he slides it along my knee, causing me to jump in surprise. His fingers squeeze gently, offering me reassurance, and somehow, I relax. I can actually feel the tension leave my body.

I glance over at him and his face is a mask of attentiveness as he listens intently to the story Owen is telling about his job. His gaze never leaves Owen’s, nodding along, all while sliding his hand up my thigh a centimeter at a time.

His handsome profile is unwavering, but me? Well, my entire body is reacting to his touch.

Which is both terrifying and thrilling at the same time.

“Quinn?” my mother calls, jolting me from the feel of Parker’s hand.

I clear my throat, flustered. “Yeah? Sorry.”

“I swear I called your name three times. I said your father’s here.”

I nod and set my wine glass down on the table, sucking in a deep, calming breath. Owen and Cary stand and walk out of the room to greet him, leaving Parker and me alone.
